PET/C64

All you need is a PET Emulator. A PET Emulator makes your Commodore 64 think its a PET. PET Emulators pop-up on Ebay all the time. I can mail you a copy on cassette if you'd like (if I can get the tape to copy). Just email me.

Centronic interface

Hello all,

I have a cable that allows a PET to connect to a printer using a Centronic interface. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work. Does anyone know what commands or software I might need to use to get the interface to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

4016

Hello,

Working PET 4016s have been selling on Ebay for between $100 and $150 USD on average. Ebay is also the best (and easiest) place to find a complete Commodore 64 system. There is a lot of Commodore 64 stuff to choose from on Ebay. Check it out.

Volunteer help?

Robert,

I already have my plane ticket and hotel reservations for ComVEX. I'll be arriving in Las Vegas Friday, July 27. Do you need any volunteers to help you set up?

Hello, I have the User's Guide for the 64K expansion card. It will work on the CBM 8032 only. Here are the installation instructions directly from the guide: 1. Turn power off to 8032 and ALL peripherals. 2. Open front cover to expose motherboard. 3. Use an IC puller to remove the 6502 microprocesso...

You mentioned in a previous posting that you had Ray Carlsen, C= repairperson, repair your computers. Is there a phone number or website that I might be able to reach him at? Thanks!

The value of 2001-8K Chiclet PETs

Among Commodore 2001-8K chiclet PETs, are there certain chiclet PETs that are worth more then others (condition of the PET aside)? If so, how is this determined? Two chiclet PETs just sold on Ebay, but for two entirely different prices: One chiclet PET went for over $900 and the other for over $200....

I was toying with the idea of burning some of my favorite utilities like Supermon onto a chip for easier access. Can anyone tell me how I should go about doing this? What will I need? I put the unit back in the attic for now, but I believe it did the same thing either plugged into the computer or not. All three red disk drive lights came on and stayed on. The IEEE cable is in excellent condition and I verified several times that it was properly connected. I don't know what else t...
