This is just a quick note to explain why there is a VERIFYING YOU ARE HUMAN page when you visit the site. We are seeing AI bot networks trying to scrape the main Commodore site and directly targeting this forum with a massive 1500 unique IP addresses every 10 minutes. Our hosting company has told me that if these bots flood the system again, they will stop hosting the site (and our other sites, like www.URTech.ca and www.IssuesLab.com ) .
Over the last few months we have implemented several AI bot scraper filters and blocks, but some are still getting through. The VERIFYING YOU ARE HUMAN option has been the only 100% effective solution to date.
I am sorry for the wasted few seconds you have to now endure, but I don't see a reasonable alternative.
I just spent the last 3 hours tweaking new AI Scrapper Bot rules to be harder on bots, and easier on humans... well, what the system thinks are humans. I hope this simplifies your world.
