Hello,
Often I see links to files of old 5.25" floppies online, however, other than an online emulator, I can't figure out how to use them on my actual Commodore 128. Is there any way to connect the 1571 drive to my modern (2013) computer and write the files to a disk?
Thanks,
Paul

Hello,
Thank you for the tip, I would have never found that sit on my own. From what I understand, all I have to do is connect the board to a usb port and my 1571, and load the software? Is it any more difficult to use than a simple drag and drop system?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, I am not an expert in cross-platform file transfer. However, I believe CBMXFER is the application you would need. Find information about it at

If you need specific help, I can lead you to a SCCAN member who knows much more than I in terms of cross-platform file transfer.
