O.K., in the next few days, this list should firm up considerably, but here are the first confirmed presentations/demonstrations for CommVEx.

Jeri Ellsworth -- Theoretically running MPEG-2 video on the Commodore

Very nice, Larry. In the next day or two, I was about to phone/e-mail you about your presentation.

Because she had forgotten her shoes in the locked CommVEx room (she was wearing her roller skates, and security would only open the room the next day), she had to stay over another day and visit CommVEx again!

Sunday, after we saw part 2 of the Haynie/Herd/Russell video, Glenn Holmer had a two-for-one presentation... Stereo SIDs and then Prophet 64. Earl Williams had gave us an impromptu concert on Yul Haasman's MIDI keyboard. Larry Anderson had a presentation on a network Commodore game -- Flash Attack -- a tank game played between 2 Commodore 64s connected via a cable to each computer's user port! At the side of the room, I showed off Hockeymania, Advanced Space Battle, and Cynthcart (with musical keyboard on top of the C64). I ran out of time to cross-compare GEOS and Wheels.

At the side, Jeri showed how she controlled the Hummer DTV game, her proficiency only coming after more than 6 hours of practice on it!
