Well, there are always the door prizes. In fact, this year we had too many door prizes, and at the end we were just giving them to virtually everyone.wiskow wrote:I just hope I can win a good raffle prize!

Re: CommVEx v5 guests and presentations
Though he previously had stated at FCUG meetings that he would not be able to attend CommVEx this year due to his cross-country trip, Dick Estel of GeoFont Compendium fame, may stop by for a day. No promises.rbernardo wrote:rbernardo wrote:Andrew Wiskow, sysop of Cottonwood and Borderline BBSes

Plans are still in flux for this... whether it is a pre-recorded video/Skype presentation or a live telephone call-in. The big name is (drum roll)...I wrote:CBM engineer Bil Herd is rounding up another big name for a video or Skype presentation.
Chuck Peddle, CBM engineer, father of the personal computer

Re: CommVEx v5 guests and presentations
Bil Herd wants a *live* Skype presentation, saying that Chuck Peddle would have no problem with that. So, I will contact the hotel and get a fast connection into the CommVEx room. Also, I'll get a hardwire telephone connection, just in case.I wrote:Plans are still in flux for this... whether it is a pre-recorded video/Skype presentation or a live telephone call-in.
