We’ll talk about the highs and lows of the Commodore Los Angeles Super Show which was held a few weekends ago. And we will discuss ideas for the Seattle Pacific Commodore Expo NW to be held on June 20-21. Also we’ll talk about the new TeensyROM+ for the C64/128 and the upcoming Commodore 64C from Commodore International.
Played at the last meeting, we take a look again at the Eric Blase VIC-20 game, Fisherman, and see if we can make it run as a .D64 (v.p. Roger, bring your SD2IEC and RAM expanders). Then we continue with the second half of new C64 itch.io games, the half that we didn’t get to last time. Speaking of new games, we try out Jupiter Fracture, a Lunar Lander-type game. Once again, the A600GS returns with the latest game downloads from itch.io and from Amiga500archive.com , too.
Truly,
Robert Bernardo

Happy National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, C= and Ami aficionados!
The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:30+ p.m., Sunday, June 14, at

The Pacific Commodore Expo NW 2026 is happening on June 20-21, and right after the meeting, I’ll be heading north to Seattle with my station wagon packed full of Commodore and Amiga stuff. If you have any Commodore item that needs repair from technician Ray Carlsen, give it to me at the meeting, and when I pass by his place in Washington state, I’ll hand it over to him.
Meeting discussion will center around the new Commodore 64C Ultimate which will be shipped at the end of the year. Also we’ll speculate on what Commodore International has planned for their announcement at the end of this month.
In honor of the new Masters of the Universe movie, we’ll play around with classic Masters of the Universe games for the C64 and Universe for the Amiga. In honor of the new Disclosure Day movie (a kind of a sequel to E.T.), we’ll try out E.T. for the VIC-20. (Roger, bring your SD2IEC and VIC-20 RAM expanders.)
As a preview of my PaCommEx presentations, I’ll show off some of the newest C64 and Amiga demos from the demo parties, Revision 2026 and
X’2026.
Truly,
Robert Bernardo

Next SCCAN meeting - Saturday, July 11, 2026
Happy National Fried Chicken Day, C= and Ami comrades!
The next meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network is Saturday, July 11, from 2 to 5+ p.m. at
Panera Bread Restaurant
19662 Nordhoff Street
Northridge, California
(818) 407-9400
We'll have news from the June 20-21 Pacific Commodore Expo NW in Seattle. As for hardware, not only will the A1200 '060 and AmigaOne A1222+ return, but we’ll look at an Ultimate 64 Elite board and a Pi-1541 with custom Pi-1541 hat (well, if all the hardware for the latter gets delivered in time). For the U64 Elite II board, we might even try to install it inside a C64C case. Of course, once we get the U64E going, we’ll have run games and other applications with it! (Just in case, I’ll bring another Ultimate 64 as back-up.)
For the Pi-1541, we could try it out with any Commodore that has a serial IEC port.
If you have any PET, VIC-20, C64/128, C16/Plus4, or Amiga software and/or hardware that you'd like us to see, bring it along!
Truly,
Robert Bernardo

Happy National Mac and Cheese Day, FCUG members and guests!
The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:30+ p.m., Sunday, July 19, at

For discussion, we talk about the Seattle Pacific Commodore Expo NW 2026 that happened in June. We also talk about upcoming shows in which Commodore and Amiga are exhibited -- Vintage Computer Festival in August, Bay Area Maker Faire and Rocklin Maker Faire in September, and the Amiwest Show in October.
In hardware, we look at a new multi-platform power supply from Ray Carlsen. This p.s. will power one Amiga 500/600/1200 at the same time with one C64/C128/VIC-20CR/C16. We try out an Ultimate 64 Elite II board installed inside a C64C case. And we'll look at little bits, like a Pi-1541 drive and a 128 meg USB stick shaped like a C64!
In software, we'll be running some of the latest games for the C64 and the latest games and other applications for the Amiga.

Robert Bernardo
