how realistic is thec64's keyboard?

how realistic is thec64's keyboard?

The best answer I got is from a reddit post, but that was from memory. I'm curious if anyone has an actual Commodore 64 and TheC64 to compare? And how much are they alike? Because I just don't remember the Commodore 64 to have membrane/rubber dome key switches, but maybe I'm wrong?
