Nvm, I got a nice setup from the great people at CCC! C64 1571 Epson LX810 printer 8) It took me a while to realise that you can use both sides of a 1571 on a c64  It looks sooo nice sitting there next to my C64C :D I feel like throwing together my own C= site, so beware! It will come when yo...

Heat weakens adhesive. I'm not sure how well the old adhesive will re-apply though. I heard about disk de-labelers that use heat to weaken the adhesive, then the labels just come off! It actually works too, I had a 3.5 in an old laptop that got too hot, and the label came off in the drive, lol. I th...

Good point, wiskow. I guess I'll buy CCC. But, I knocked my 1541 out of alignment the other day  , and I don't think I saw an alignment disk on their list. Anyone here got one?

Looking for a cheap c64 setup

I'm looking to get a sacond c64 setup, because transporting 50lbs of Commodore is difficult, akward, and time consuming. All I need is a c64 or c64c, (or mabey a 128?) a disk drive, and a psu, if it's available. I'm located in KY, and I will pay to ship. If anyone has a printer out there, I'm intere...

OK, guess not. I thought I had read something to that effect on the board. I'm sure I read that you can hook up old IBM compatible printers to the C64 thru the user port. I have an HP 82 CE By the way, I have been having problems with loading on the forum, It returns 'Could not display the page' eve...

How do you delete files off a 1541? And how do you rename files? I'm really into my C= now, I just have no idea what I'm doing! :D

Basic BASIC commands

I was typing in a program last night, and after like 20 minuets of careful keying, I tried to run it and found I made a simple typo in the last line. So, what's the command to replace a line in BASIC 2.0?

Well, In my C64C, there's a jumper of sorts to toggle between PAL and NTSC. It's actually more of a solder bridge, short it to toggle one way, cut it to toggle the other. I'm not entirely sure, but aren't PAL and NTSC different power standards in Europe (?) and The USA? Then, couldn't you just use a...

Yes, that's the only problem about living in Kuntucky, (I plan to get out ASAP) the closest user's club is 3 hours away! :x I would absolutely LOVE to go and get some cheap supplies, but gas the way it is today... Shipping on a datasette wouldn't be too high, would it? not like a PSU or a 1541. As f...
