I'm looking to get a sacond c64 setup, because transporting 50lbs of Commodore is difficult, akward, and time consuming. All I need is a c64 or c64c, (or mabey a 128?) a disk drive, and a psu, if it's available. I'm located in KY, and I will pay to ship. If anyone has a printer out there, I'm interested as well. :D

I would suggest getting what you need from the Cincinnati Commodore Computer Club. Their prices are reasonable they're near to you.

Unfortunatley, finding working Commodore hardware within driving distance is no longer possible for many. Luckily, however, there are still many sources out there, although you'll end up paying a bit for shipping. Still, it's better to pay a bit extra to have something shipped that you know will work rather than taking a gamble on something that may be cheaper, but will probably end up being broken. :?

Good point, wiskow. I guess I'll buy CCC. But, I knocked my 1541 out of alignment the other day  , and I don't think I saw an alignment disk on their list. Anyone here got one?

I believe that Centsible Software still sells the Free Spirit 1541/1571 Drive Alignment software. It looks like their website at www.centsible.com is not working properly, but the guy who runs the company sells on eBay... His eBay username is "centsisoft", so you could contact him there.

How about a C128 + a rebuild 1571 + a 1541 + a commodore-compatible Okidata printer?

And all my C64/C128 software?

I've opened up everything and gave them a look-over, cleaning, and done whatever little things need done. It all works in tip-top shape.

Name your price, however, be warned I live in Washington/Oregon...

And don't ask why I'm selling all my commodore stuff...
I'd probably get shot in this forum for saying...

Switching to Atari? :)

You should probably give an email address where interested parties can contact you because this forum doesn't support private messaging.

Nvm, I got a nice setup from the great people at CCC!
C64
1571
Epson LX810 printer
8)
It took me a while to realise that you can use both sides of a 1571 on a c64  It looks sooo nice sitting there next to my C64C :D
I feel like throwing together my own C= site, so beware! It will come when you least expect it!

I'm glad my suggestion worked out. They really are good folks.
