Even as I was setting up the many computers on Friday for this year's PaCommEx, the Living Computers: Museum + Labs wanted the show for next year. How could I say no?! With the even bigger success of this year's expo, next year's event is assured. So, the Pacific Commodore Expo NW is coming to the LCM+L on June 8-9, 2019.
This year the emphasis was on creative and newer applications for the computers -- VR64, commercial games, and even the slightly classic Shredz64 (Guitar Hero) and more classic Tech Sketch Music Port keyboard. I'm thinking of a different mix next year. Perhaps daisywheel, dot matrix, and Postscript printing and GEOS/Wheels...
Leaving Seattle and back to California,

Instead of the big-box Amigas of this year's show, perhaps the smaller Amigas - A500, A600, and A1200...rbernardo wrote:I'm thinking of a different mix next year.
Now in Creswell, Oregon, and heading back to California,

So far, I'm planning to bring an Amiga CD32, an Amiga 500 v8, and an Ultimate 64 to the show.

A few more items have been added to the exhibits for PaCommEx. See
https://portcommodore.com/dokuwiki/doku ... x:exhibits
On a side note, our Living Computers: Museum + Labs events' coordinator for the last 2 years, Matisse Fletcher, is moving over the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture. She jokes that she is moving from technological dinosaurs to real dinosaurs! However, PaCommEx 2019 is still a go, and the new LCM+L contact person is Rob.

I've booked my hotel. It is America's Best Value Airport Inn in SeaTac.

One month to the 2019 Pacific Commodore Expo NW! More presentations and guests have been added to the PaCommEx website. More exhibits have been added, too! (I'll go into more detail in the separate PaCommEx topics here.)

The above hotel has been cancelled. I will now be at the Red Roof Inn in SeaTac.
Starting the long drive to Seattle tomorrow,

I'm now on the road to the Pacific Commodore Expo NW. Last night I arrived in Yreka, California, just south of the Oregon border. Today I travel to Portland, Oregon. Friday I arrive in Seattle and start setting up for the show.
See you soon,
