gklinger, What is the most i should pay for a complete commodore 64? That's up to you but here in Toronto you can get a 64, two 1541 drives a 1702 monitor all the cables and a joystick or two for around $50 (and yes, everything works.) Toronto is a bit of a hotbed of Commodore activity so it might ...

Re: News on All American BBS
Through talking with Nick Smith by phone and e-mail, he's agreed to send me the last version of AA BBS that he wrote for both the 64 and the 128. Not only that, but just yesterday I got another e-mail from him, and he says he's going to also send me the SOURCE CODE for both versions, which he wants...

Couldn't you ask the seller to check the serial number(s) on the other boxes and find the one that matches your 128 and then send you that box in exchange for you sending the box you have back? Surely that would be cheaper and easier than buying and shipping another 128 or returning the one you've a...

Actually Gambit, Tequila's post is spam. What these parasites are doing these days is posting vague comments that sound like they could be on-topic so as to avoid being deleted by administrators. In point of fact, the post is meaningless and exists only so that people will click on the URL in their ...

Ouch. $250 is a lot of money if it isn't exactly what you wanted and you already paid $50 for shipping and you'll presumably be out another $50 to ship it back. Worse yet, that's only if the seller will take it back. I would say you would be better off trying to sell it to recoup your investment. If...
