Re: Commodore 710 lying around
I'm sort of interested. I'm in the US. Does it have a switching power supply? What would your parents want for it and how do you feel about shipping it to the US?

Re: Java & Android C64 V2 BASIC text<->PRG converter
That's interesting. I'm working on a similar program. I'm using Microsoft C++. I started with a program I found called "TOK64". Have you heard of it? The advantage with this approach is a lot of the work is done already. I would like to expand it to use difference versions of BASIC like BA...

Re: Problem with Commodore 4040 dual floppy drive
I've decided which board is probably bad. The small board seems to control the input from the two drives and sends it to the bigger board, which takes the input from both drives. Re: Problem with Commodore 4040 dual floppy drive
I did mention that I "swapped the drives". Actually I managed to switch the cables so drive 0 was drive 1 and drive 1 was drive 0. The working drive stopped working and the non-working drive started working. The drives are both okay. It's something else. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Problem with Commodore 4040 dual floppy drive
Hi, I'm new here. I'm having a problem with a Commodore 4040 dual drive. This one came out in the late 70's I believe. One of the drives, drive 0, works and the other one doesn't. I've always had a problem since I bought it used several years ago. A week ago cleaned the heads with isopropyl alcohol ...

Newbie is wondering
Hi, I just joined a week or two ago. I'm very interested in 8-bit Commodore computers. I collect them. I have a VIC20, C64, SX64, C116, c16, plus/4, and B500. I'd like to get one of the old PETS, but they're hundreds of dollars. I also have several Amigas, including a couple of Amiga NG machines. La...
