Re: Commodore 1520 printer/plotter

There was someone working on a USB/Commodore/Parallel conversion module, but I don't think there's been any new progress made on it for close to a year now, which is a shame, as that would be great to have! Otherwise, for using newer ink/bubble jets printers, on a C64, I think one would be limited t...

Re: VIC20 Denial website

It took quite a while for me to get an invoice, and I'm still waiting for word on a finished product...at least 6 months now. When you do get registered on the Denial site, just do a search for the Mega-cart thread, and you'll see what I mean about the extended wait time, from other members. I notic...

Wanted: Commodore 8010 Acoustic Modem

Thought I'd start my yearly search again for this very difficult to find Commodore item. Anyone have one that they wouldn't mind parting with? Complete in the box would be the most desirable, but I'd be happy with the just the modem as well.

Cheers!

Re: VIC20 Denial website

The Denial website itself doesn't actually have anything to do with the production or sales of the Mega-Cart. It's a hobby project by one of the members, solely on his own. The cart can be ordered through http://www.mega-cart.com , but be prepared for a wait for confirmation of the order, and an eve...

Re: Commodore 64 desk

I'm sure your hard work will pay of, but regardless, best of luck on this year's show Robert, and I look forward to reading about it in the near future!

Re: Commodore 64 desk

That's true :D , but can there ever be 'enough' Commodore shows to enjoy? And yes, I definitely can imagine that you would have your hands full, coordinating an event like that, but hopefully you have a bit of help, that allows you to enjoy some of your hard work!

Re: Commodore 64 desk

I wish I was somewhat closer, as I would definitely come to the show! I've seen highlights from some of the previous shows, and it definitely looks like a great weekend of fun!

Re: Commodore 64 desk

Very interesting piece of technology there! I hadn't heard of it before, but after a little reading on what it is, well, all I can say is, very impressive!

I may just have to add that to my wish list. :D

Re: Commodore 64 desk

Yes, never a big fan of the Commodore 'sticker' Heh, for the PC box of my CommodoreOne, I've considered going to a local trophy shop and have a metal badge (in relief) made for it. I just haven't done it yet. :) Truly, That's actually a great idea! Would give anything that perfect, finishing touch ...

Truly,

Yes, never a big fan of the Commodore 'sticker' Much prefer a stamped plate or something more elegant, but I guess it's better than nothing, and if only for identification purposes.

Re: Commodore 64 desk

Ah, how many times have I said that about things over the years! :( The one thing I never did get rid of was my C64 set, even though there was a good 20 years in-between the last time I used it, and the next time I fired it up. Definitely agree with you about the 1701. Solid monitor, and they are de...

Re: Commodore 64 desk

Thanks! I've got 3 of the 2 drawer filing cabinets...one is that battleship grey, and the other 2 are that off white color of a Vic-20. I can't seem to pass up grabbing anything Commodore, whenever I come across something  ! Do you still have the system that came with your desk, Lousy? (or desk...

Re: Commodore 64 desk

Happy to throw some useful info out, when I've got some to offer :) I'm still partial to that desk, since it was part of my original setup (as cheaply built as it is and well, doesn't quite fit me like it use to  ), but I agree with you on the filing cabinets Robert, I've got a couple myself, a...
