Re: Commodore Free issue 62 released (fwd)

Thanks for the heads-up. :)

I've since uploaded the .D64 image of this recent issue to the public shares (with permission of course) over at CommodoreServer for fellow Comet64 users.

Comet64 and CommodoreServer Search Demos

Recently, I put together a couple of short demonstrations on how to use your Comet64 (and the CommodoreServer website) to search the contents of the disk images stored in your CommodoreServer disk archive. This first video is using your web browser and the CommodoreServer website. http://youtu.be/zA...

Thanks! :)

I could put a .d64 image together, if you'd like. I'll post a link.

I saw that today, too.

It never ceases to amaze me when I see how intricately woven Commodore is in the history of personal computing. Too bad it didn't survive to see the days of Linux and Open Source.

Re: Commodore 64 Games on the Nintendo Wii

On Monday I noticed that "Summer Games II" is now available for Wii's Virtual Console.

What I'm really waiting for is my "Space Taxi", "Gyruss" and "Test Drive".

Re: Commodore 64 Games on the Nintendo Wii

I'd be interested. I'm trying to estimate shipping. Could you give me a weight and container size estimate?

Wanting my very own Plus/4

Anybody looking to off-load a Commodore Plus/4 (working, of course)? I'd be requiring shipping to central Canada.

Re: 1541 issue

I'd think that by the time you do all that you may have to do to fix your drive, you're better off buying a replacement.

There are a few resources on the Web where you can buy 1541s and 1541-II at reasonable prices.

Hey, thanks for the update.

Here's a picture of my "Made in Canada" C64 breadbox...

Unfortunately, I was working on it the other day and the space bar stopped responding. Luckily I have a backup C64.
